ViewGuard 42"

I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with the ViewGuard anti-glare filters from www.buyviewguard.com.

I have recently bought a couple of 42" tvs (Philips 42PFL3704D and Panasonic TC-P42U1) that I plan to put this on.

The main reason I am looking to get this is for protection against my cats - they have a habit of spraying onto things they should not be which I assume can and will create problems on the LCD/plasma screens?

I do not have any issues with reflections and such.

I would appreciate getting to know of any other options.

Thanks

You should have gotten those cat neutered (sp?) or castrated when they were young. Then they wouldn't spray.

And as much as I love my 17 years old cat, Tuxon, if I catch him spraying my brand new 60" LCD I'll remove his fur one hair at a time.

Are they both of the same sex? because mine being alone has no need to mark territory but if there was another male he would go through the motion but wouldn't be able to shoot anything since the "fixing" take care of this also.

Both!

I live on a farm. I got 9. They just show up. The last one that came in was probably 2 months old - showed up one day, every time we opened the door he (it now!) came shooting in - most probably dropped by someone. What you gonna do!

Another one we found sleeping in the chicken coop!

As if that was not enough, my wife's bro was going thru some stuff and needed to move from Mass to Dallas. Packaged his cats (all fixed) to us to keep while he "settled in". He has since gone back to Mass - you think he is looking to get them back?

I 40" X 24" cut plexiglass from Lowes and some velcro took care of this.
Around $30.

No change on pic quality.

Thanks.
