That's such BS that amazon didn't deliver on time. Especially for a new game on release day like that. I've had very good luck with my prime and game deliveries being on time (knock on wood), or else you know I'd handle it
$7 ain't bad though. But I'd pay an extra $7 just to have it on release day
Especially if it's BF3 or MW3. Makes me want to just walk in to gamestop and be done with it. I'll probably order from amazon, but if it doesn't get there on time, probably cancel and get it locally. Heck, might just leave early and get it locally before UPS would come anyway.
And I hate lazy UPS drivers. I've had that same thing happen. Only, they came to my door, while I was home, stuck the thing on the door, didn't knock, and left. Such a PITA because in that case I went straight to UPS and the guy had just got back with the truck, and they are VERY reluctant to go search on the actual trucks -- you usually have to wait a day. But if you're really nice, they will usually do it. On the one hand I can understand that people aren't home for probably 99% of every delivery they make, so they get lazy and just go as fast as they can and assume you aren't there, but on the other hand, it's their freakin job to try to deliver it.
