She is a nurse and a teacher... Need I say more? Add in the whole getting a doctorate thing (they really do suck out their brains). Plus stays up way to late playing blops... And I have to blame myself. She rarely played anymore other than combat training, until i was professing man crushes on all you guy's playing ability. Then whammo. She is hooked again. My fek up there. Should have kept my mouth shut!

Also in her defense, I did tell a pretty convincing story to my buddy to get him calmed down. AND she had been drinking.


But otherwise, no I wouldn't trust her a bit.

I tried to warn you guys. Every time she warns of someone planting the bomb or the location of an enemy she is wrong

I am not going to tell her a thing.. She threatened us Saturday because she thinks we were telling you when she was playing late. I told her that I'd make sure you knew from now on

Kids tune her out. Now when big daddy yells or even slightly raises his voice....

Yep he sure is, but I think everyone has toned down their play a bit. Myself I'm kind of taking it easy this week in preparation for BF3 next week

BF3 is the appetizer.
Uncharted 3 is the salad.
MW3 is the main course.
Skyrim is the second entree.
Assassins creed for dessert.

That'll keep me busy for a while.

Hmm, the jury is still out on which will be the main course between BF3 and MW3 for me. While I'm trying to be positive about it, I absolutely hated MW2 more than anything and I fear that MW3 might be just as bad. On the other hand I think BF3 (even the beta) plays much better than BFBC2 and reminds me more of BF2 which I like.
I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Also, I'm very excited for skyrim too I just don't know where the time to play that is going to come from.

I haven't decided If I'm going to take off yet. If I do, it will be Wednesday, not Tuesday. (have to wait for amazon to deliver it anyways).

Yeah...I'll probably just put it in a doggie bag for later. It's just too much at once. Gotta get a little taste of everything.

It sucks how we basically starve all summer and then everything just gets thrown at us at once.

Can you tell I haven't eaten breakfast?

I'll be burning any goodwill I have starting tonight since I will be picking up Batman today.

I haven't played anything in a long time as I was just burnt out on BLOPs completely. Batman should keep me occupied until MW3 drops though.

Still very much undecided about BF3. Most likely I will skip it and just save my money for now.

I put NOVA since I work here but technically I'm further out. Luray is my hometown. VA has a strong presence on here it seems

It might have been me. I played 1 game of HC CTF with Mrs Steelhouse last night. I hate hardcore. Such a campfest.

Also, last night was the absolute worst for lag/hit detection/whatever we're calling it these days. Worse than it's been in a long time for me. I actually chucked my controller at one point like a 5 year old.

Anybody up for some wager tonight? Heh? Wager? Anybody? I think I've finally almost had it with the standard play. Good thing we only have 3 weeks left.

Really? Exact opposite for me, I cannot stand having to put 15 bullets in somebody just to get one kill. Nothing, and I mean nothing makes me madder than putting 2 bursts from an M-16 into someone's chest only to have them kill you with a noob-tube. Regular Bops is almost as bad for me as MW2 quick scoping.

Hardcore is perfect IMO because it is much more true to realistic warfare. You get 3 in the chest from an M-16 your not going to Halo Jump and kill anyone anytime soon, right? And I've found the more active you are in Hardcore running around the better your score can be. For a while I was staying back playing defense in CTF and averaging around 3000. Lately I've been much more active running around and going 40-5, 50-10 with scores in the 5k-6k range.

I don't usually have a problem getting kills in core, sure sometimes you get killed and it's BS but normally though that ends up in my favor it seems.

You and Conman both. You guys seem to get the "host advantage" all the time, even when you're not host! I'll watch you guys' play in HQ when I'm dead and there's a lot of times when somebody will get first shot on you and then you turn and kill them like nothing. I always think "well that guy's gotta be pissed."

Anyway, I agree that core is USUALLY fine. I have nights like last night where almost every kill is complete BS, but that's pretty rare. Hardcore is a complete camper's paradise. People just crouch in a corner, shoot you as you run by, crouch in the next corner, repeat. It sucks.
