I've been working on my theater since the beginning of March, and thanks to this forum I have been able to finish it and am blown away by the outcome.
First the equipment list:
JVC DLA-RS20
Carada 126" in Brilliant White
Pioneer Elite SC-25 Receiver
Pioneer Elite BDP-23FD Blu-Ray
APC J10 Power Center/UPS
Creative Sound Solutions SDX15 Quartet Subwoofer
Paradigm Monitor 9v5 fronts
Paradigm Monitor CC-290v5 (soon to be replaced with CC-390)
Paradigm Monitor ADP-190v5 surrounds.
Going to add in wall surrounds for rear channels.
URC MX-450 & MRF-260 for remote.
Berkline 15175 w/power recline
Now for the pics. This forum was invaluable to help me get ideas and in planning the seating area and stage.
First the before pics. Originally the closet door was behind where the seats went, so I had to move the door. Also, had to get rid of the ceiling fan and add can lights.

Next building the riser:

Then the stage - definitely appreciated all the tips on the curve. I ended up using a piece of masonite siding I had lows rip down to width for me for the front. Nice thing about using siding. Easy to use the excess from the siding to space it out enough I could use a flush trim router bit to leave a 1" lip.

Now some pics after the carpet & paint.

The sub. Not the best finished box ever, but I knew it would be behind the screen. Just did the basic 24" cube with 15" sub & two passive radiators. It gets low.

My screen wall. I tried to do the minimal wall based on pics I saw in the screen wall thread. I used 2x3s. Later added cross braces for the screen mounts.

Hung the projector used the power bridge and a mount from perfectmounts

Screen wall before the cover up panels. Also added a center channel stand.

Finished pics. Still need to add cabinets in back corner next to door for a snack bar, but I'm definitely enjoying it. Replaced the shade with a blackout shade since taking these.

Used GOM 701 on screen wall. Highly recommend the false wall. I have some friends that just have the screen on the wall, but putting in the stage & the false wall just makes it seem so much cooler.
Still need to do some accoustical treatments and decorate, but overall I am just loving it and definitely owe the forum some thanks.
