Need HELP: looking for the best gaming tv

hello everyone
I'm looking for a good gaming tv , to me this means no or very little jaggy edges on games. Lag is a minor issue anything under 1 is fine and I need at least a 46 inch. Money limit it $1800 before tax. I'm using a xbox 360. And I need to buy the tv from best buy.

Now I have tried a samsung 6000 series led it had major major flashlight/clouding issues
also tried the Sony led 700, same issues as samsung

I tried the Sony hx701 and even it has some clouding/flashlight issues but the HDTV cable picture is amazing, however the gaming picture is bad
jaggy edges and the corners are a dark blue or black depending on the game

If anyone can offer me any suggestions that would be great.

Anyway I might also add I like semi matte or glossy screens only.

I'm no expert, but if it needs to be under one, it's more than a minor issue.

Well the quatro is said to be .30 so that's .70 under 1
maybe I am saying it wrong

So what are you talking about exactly?

@PussyVampire: do you mean, everything below 100ms of input lag is no problem for you? Or what unit of measurement do you mean when talking about "under 1"

100ms of input lag is really laggy and not really playable!

You need to help us define the "under 1" for imput lag. Is it 1 frame or 1 ms? In both cases, these numbers are far, far from being minor. 1 frame lost is about 15-16ms and in modern TV, espicially at 46", it's almost impossible to find. The closest thing would either be a panasonic plasma (if you don't mind image retention) or a Sharp TV. Both are about 2 frames lag (30ms) which is still considered great.

After this there are a few tv that falls withing the 30ms to 50ms range, I believe the Sony HX701 falls into that category. I am personaly considering buying back the HX701. I return mine due to clouding but I might take my changes and go buy it back again.

I didn't notice any lag on the 52810UN, but I did notice clouding and motion blur. I'm interested to see how the 925 does, but haven't really seen anything on it yet. For 100% gaming I'm seriously considering DLP. Why can't they just make plasmas that are immune to IR
