Wonder if this Criterion Blu-ray will come in a special package (like the current Criterion) symbolizing outdated media... a DVD case maybe?

OK, Amazon has set Videodrome for a December 7th street date and it is the Criterion version, so this should be uncut and with all of the extras as the DVD.special edition has.

If you're interested, Criterion just put up a Criterion Cast (podcast) on Videodrome.

"This is the podcast dedicated to The Criterion Collection. Rudie Obias, Ryan Gallagher, & James McCormick discuss Criterion News & Rumors and Criterion New Releases, they also analyze, discuss & highlight CC #248 film David Cronenberg's 1983 film, Videodrome."
