Just bought this off eBay (mint!) to upgrade my spare bedroom HT system. Couple things driving me nuts:
Can't get any AM stations to come in (not even static). Have hooked up same AM loop antenna I used with previous receiver (that worked fine), but no luck. Can get FM stations fine with just a dipole ant.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong (in setup or something), or is the AM tuner in this thing just crappy.
Also, have a question about using the back surround channel for Room 2. All I want to do is use this as a "B" speaker system for my deck speakers, but can't get any output from them (I have Room 2 specified in setup), but maybe this thing isn't designed to be used lilke this. Supposedly, you can listen to another input source in room2, independent of room 1 input.
Any help is appreciated.
