Quick Question: 65 inch Panny Plasma...

A couple of years ago, I saw the 65 inch Panasonic plasma set up in the Magnolia section of my local Best Buy store. The panel was sitting on a table in the middle of the room, not on the wall.

I saw 4 fans on the back of the Panny. They were quiet, and I had no problem with the fact that Panasonic designed the 65 to get the heat out into the room and away from parts that could eventually suffer from heat damage.

Question is: Do the current 65 inch Panasonic plasmas have cooling fans? How many?

What about smaller size Panny plasmas, do any of them have cooling fans?

TIA

Count 6 fans on my '09 65" Panasonic TH-65VX100U , a custom/pro monitor. No noise, and barely perceptible heat. -- John

Thanks

I surmise that all the 65 inch Panny plasmas have at least 4 fans. If anyone knows about the 65 V 10, I'd be interested in knowing.

Thanks

65S1 has at least 4 across the top. Not sure if there are any 58+ plasmas without fans.

I don't want to sound ignorant, but is it possible these are only cooling "towers" that use passive cooling and are not really fans?

Please take no offense to that question, but that is what the rep from Panasonic said, they were empty towers using passive cooling and had no fans.

Thanks again.
