Panasonic pedestal TY-ST42PA20

Hi, I have a Panasonic TH-42PD25, 46 in. which uses the pedestal TY-ST42PA20 which is no longer available. Does anyone know which other Panasonic pedestal I can use on my tv? I was told that I could use the pedestal TY-ST08-K for the tv TH-42PD12 but that model is also no longer available either.

The TY-ST08-K is still available since it's spec'd for the recent and current pro models. Amazon alone shows 20 retailers that have it. Here's a recent thread with a few other options:

I think I have that stand in a box here somewhere ... new, never used ... would you be interested ?

Thanks for the information, you are correct. I found the model # last night and ordered it right away. The information that it was no longer available was given to me by an employee at Panasonic and I assumed that I was given the correct information, go figure. Again, thanks for such a quick response.

I read your thread on pedestals for Panasonic plasma TVA. I have th-42pa25 that is in need of a pedestal. I found some still in stock in the uk, part number Ty-st42pa20. They were being offered at a price greater than a replacement tv including the stand. How did you make out with your search for a substitute.
