Hello! We at www. biohemmet .se have found a solution to view 3D Bluray movie monsters vs aliens from a PC directly from the hard drive.
Tests have been made with Nvidia's 3D vision in full 1080p. There is a 10min-long clip from the movie and two trailers at www. biohemmet. se. This solution will work with all 3D movies now that we have figured out how BD 3D structure on a BD disc.
Please take a look on my site.

Best Regards

Assuming one already has a 3D Blu Ray player, can it be hooked up to a computer directly for 3D viewing?

Yeah, I read about the current work around until the major software players release their updates. Kudos to ya'll for figuring it out, but my lord, you need a ton of hard drive space and encoding time to watch anything.

Not to mention, it's a re-encode.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to knock it, my rationale is that it just takes a lot of time to get less than "original" results, and I don't care what encoder someone uses.

Especially since there is only 1 title on the market, with a second coming soon, but at the same time, but so is the MVC software decoder.

Like I said, please don't take this wrong, as I'm glad you posted it here, because this is the Audio/Video Science forum, so it fits perfectly.
