This still quickly becoming more entertaining than the LCD/Plasma debates!
Hey, some are gonna hate it, some are gonna love it, some just don't care.
Those that hate it will find all sorts of reasonning, stats, figures and conjections to support their point of view.
Those that love it can do the same.
This form of emmersive entertainment is still in it's infancy... Bluray is still not that widely utilized, and how long has that been available for the consumers?
Sure, lots more 3D models available now.
Sure, sales numbers for all sets are down (the economy sucks big time)
But those two factors are just part of the equation!
But I gotta say, the question this thread asks has been resoundingly answered... it is not a fad, it is most definately here to stay.
I just wish there was more quality content (ie. Avatar), and that content was not so expensive to obtain.
(Just curious Johnla, you have a 3D capable TV... have you gotten the emitter, glasses to view 3D yet?
Have you used the 3D function yet? Sorry, I don't remember if you have used this feature
