Using Firewire port on RNG110

Thread Starter
Has anyone tried using the firewire port on the Pace RNG110 STB to connect to a Vista ( or XP ) computer to record shows?

Comcast provides info and drivers but that particular box is not listed but could just be that the site has not been updated recently. I was wondering if anyone here has tried this.

Comcast has a page and drivers for this but the forum won't allow me to post the URL so you will need to do a Google search for Comcast and firewire to find it. home.comcast.net/~exdeus/stbfirewire/ ( this is the link with the http omitted, no www. )

Anything further on this? I just got the RNG110 and am looking at how to re-engineer my HTPC recording, which previously was clear QAM on HDHomeruns.

I'm exactly in the same situation.
