HD4670 - no sound with HDMI output

Hi guys, hope you can help me, dont know what else to do...

I got a hdmi cable and plugged, the sound works perfectly, with windows 7 HDMI default driver audio. I realized that is was giving only 2 channels, then I installed the realtek driver to try to solve that, then the sound stopped.

I formatted my PC and since then I cannot get any sound.

Have no luck with windows 7 default driver. I installed the R2.42 from Realtek site.

When I play some sound with the ATI HDMI output selected, the volume bar next to it becomes green, as if the sound was being playied, but NO SOUND comes from the TV. The same happens with windows default driver.

and I should have a realtek control panel right? But when I run the files inside realtek folder, nothing happens, the control panel doesnt open.

Im using catalyst 10.4, Realtek R2.42 on Windows 7 Pro x64. Sapphire HD4670. TV is a Samsung LN32B350.

My onboard sound is disabled on bios, theres no HDMI options on bios.

Anyone can help me?

Connected to a TV and getting 2 channel sound.
What else do you need?
The TV has only two speakers, so the system will only see those two speakers, not more.

Set the HDMI audio as default. In your pic., there's a green tick mark next to the headphones. That shows that the headphones are the default device and not the HDMI.

Sorry I think I didnt make myself clear. Im getting NO SOUND on TV, even the stereo sound. The headphone was just selecteded when I took the screenshot. Even if I select the HDMI audio output as default device, when I play something, the volume bar gets green to show the sound volume, but NO SOUND comes from TV, I hear NOTHING.

First off, disable in device manager, the SBLive and the other sound device you had and reboot. Uninstall the realtek driver and the ATI driver then reboot in safe mode and run driver sweeper to remove all traces. Reboot and install the ATI 10.4 drivers and test.
