3D Movie recommendations

Hi,

I'm looking for a good 3D movie that will jump out at you when watching it. Is there any out there? M&A had a great pic, but it doesn't really jump out at you.

Avatar is the only movie enhanced by 3D IMHO, and it has not yet been released in 3D form. All others are a waste of time, better viewed in 2D.

I do have hopes for the new Shrek movie, however.

Two movies for which 3D was a true enhancement in my viewing... (neither relied on those "jumping out of the screen" phony effects, however) --

(don't think there's any way to view those at home in 3D at this time)

One movie that did use the gimmicky "jumping out of the screen" effects, and may be viewable in 3D at home: "My Bloody Valentine (2009)"

I'm not sure I understand what you're looking for. Are you interested in things flying towards the screen, or just a movie that is somehow made better by 3D? Avatar certainly has it's fans. Myself, I was far more impressed with How to Train Your Dragon. Not sure what's currently playing at theaters, though.
