Have you read thru the two threads on these two?
Based on comments by owners here & on other sites, I just now placed my order for the Toshiba. Walmart has an excellent price on it, including free shipping.
I have not looked at the Sony (or any Sony), so can't comment on a direct comparison. But the features of the Toshiba won me over from the LG LH90, which I'd originally had my eye on.
