last season I remember Nucky trying to sell off a bunch of surplus Tommy guns to that guy in Ireland (John McGarrigle)...in real life history Al Capone's favorite weapon of choice was the Tommy gun...hmm...might we see Capone put those guns to use this week

Yeah, Richard is a complex character. In the hands of an actor less gifted than Jack Huston, Richard could have come across as a monster. Credit is due to the writers, of course, but Huston's performances have made Richard compelling.

Does Gillian know how badass Richard is? She knew he was part of Darmody's crew, but does she have any reason to know that Harrow was more than just a guy who backed up Jimmy with a pistol or shotgun? I don't recall her knowing much detail about the day to day affairs, just the big picture stuff (kill nucky, take over AC, etc)

I suspect it's precisely because he was gay that he had such insight into women.

IIRC, he has no other relatives.
Does Richard dream of adopting the boy?
Maybe Nucky would help pull some strings?
Now that I think about it, you're right.wink.gif
harrow wants Darmody's kid. Look at his scrap book. The pic. with him the new girl, (her name slips my mind), and the way Gillian has treated him. He will (prediction) kill Gyp, who will be in bed with G at the time, and all Gyps guys in the house at the time. Kill Gillian and take the boy. Capone and Nucky with Chalkey will war with massaira.

Could be but when Richard took out the case with several hand guns and then added his shotgun and sniper's rifle to the party he sure looked like he was preparing to go to war with extreme prejudice against who knows how many people. If it was just Gillian he was going to kill I don't think that he would taken out all of that armarment. That boy looks pretty serious about whatever he has planned.

I thought he was just packing up his belongings. She kicked him out no? He seems to own mostly guns.

No matter who the target(s) is, Mr. Harrow is all out of bubble gum.wink.gif

I hope they don't make Harrow out to be some sort of Superman and kill off dozens of Gyp's crew...in my mind he's an expert sharpshooter and he should not be portrayed as a guy who can mow down dozens of gun toting bad guys like the Terminator...it would be unrealistic...the guy can't even see out of 1 eye and has half his face missing so they need to keep him as a long range sniper

He did pretty good with a shotgun at close range, so not sure if I believe it would be "impossible" for him to take them down, depending on the situation.....

I actually like his as a Terminator character... hes the best thing on the show.. compelling character

I'm pretty sure he wasn't in the mansion during that scene.  It looked like he was in his old apartment when he was gathering those guns.

I have wondered about too.

Without stereoscopic eyesight it seems like it would be difficult to be exceedingly accurate at anything >10 feet without a scope.

It isn't. Visual clues are more than enough to be accurate. [speaking as a person without stereoscopic vision]

here's a very interesting article in which Terence Winter talks about why Owen needed to be killed off and the reason his actual death scene was never filmed...

Did they never see Seven?

if you are going to kill someone and deliver them in a box it's always better to not see them being packed first. wink.gif

If he’s going to make this move on Joe Masseria he’s not going to be successful and ultimately that’s how Nucky finds out that Margaret has been in love with somebody else.

yeah...looks like my suspicions were wrong...although I really don't see how Nucky could have figured that out from Margaret's reaction...she was hysterical yes...just like any other person would be if they saw a close friend or family member dead in a box...

She knew what kind of business the boys were into and, IMO, her reaction was well beyond what was to be expected.
I would have come to the same conclusion as Nuck.

+1!. When I saw Margaret's reaction to Owen's body and Nucky's reaction to Margaret's shock and dismay, I was convinced to a moral certainty that Nucky knew that Margaret and Owen had been engaged in hanky-panky.
