Even tho you guys had some spoilers here, seeing Jimmy's demise was still a bit of shock. The way the episode unfold reminded me a lot of Michael Corleone getting even with all his enemies in 1 swoop. What surprised me was him finally taking Eli's side over Jimmy, when IIRC, it was Jimmy who was reluctant & Eli was the one who wanted to off Nuck all along. Eli lied his @ss off. Kind of surprised Nuck fell for it...but then again, there's next season to even that score
Even though you could see it happening, it still was fascinating to see it all fall into place.
Yeah, I agree Nuck will probably find a way to get the land back. Father Brennan won't be enjoying it for long.
And if Margaret isn't careful, she'll be sleeping with the fishes next season. We'll also have to see what happens to Richard. Does he try to avenge Jimmy for mom or does he join up with Nuck.
This show has turned out to be one of the best HBO series, along with Deadwood. I think better than Sopranos which had a lot of family dynamic episodes, sometime you could almost feel sympathetic to Tony. There's no one in BE that has redeeming qualities
Next season can't come soon enough! Looking forward to it and GoT in April.
