The menu for this BDJ content does not support the use of a mouse.

Have you ever seen the following popup message, or something like it, while getting ready to watch a Blu-ray movie on your computer?

The menu for this BDJ content does not support the use of a mouse.

After seeing this message, what I can expect is that while watching the movie I will not have full functionality of my Cyberlink Power DVD software. Most important, I will not be able to use keyboard shortctuts ("F" for fast forward, "B" for rewind, "T" to go to next frame, "E" to go to previous frame, etc).

I get this message more often for newer Blu-ray releases than older ones.

Am I the only one who watches Blu-ray movies on their computer and who wants to use keyboard shortcuts?

Is this failure to support keyboard shortcuts ever going to be remedied?

I'm curious if you ever found a solution to this problem; I am having the same problem with my new Sony extenal HD drive.

ditto. Quite disappointing. I would like to use my mouse for BluRay Disc control.

Does yours at least let you play the movie? Because mine won't even play the movie, and the program spazzes every time I try.

It's not a problem with the player or the drive. It has to do with the way the disc is authored. When this happens, you should be able to use the on-screen navigation control. PDVD and TMT both have it but I don't remember what they call it. It's basically an onscreen remote that you can use your mouse to click the buttons.
