I read the local dimming in 5500 is no good

Hey guys, have spent the last few days browsing this thread at work. Have completely read every post up to page 18 (long thread here!).
I picked up the 47LE5400 from BB sat Feb26. So far have been relatively happy. Almost sure it is the IPS panel. The reason for my post is last night I noticed some dead pixels up near the top left corner. They are shining white, and guessing there are three or four grouped together.
These are not visible from my couch, so I can live with it, but it is very worrying to me because I don't believe they were there when I first set up the TV. I am relatively sure there has been no contact with the screen in the past few days, so my question is twofold. What may have caused this? And how likely am I to get more dead pixels on the screen?
I can live with the one little set of pixels there. But I will probably freak out if I end up getting more and more. I am still within the 30 day return policy at BB, but don't believe they have any more sets in stock.
Advisements? Thank you.
