I am looking to replace my older Pio 1014. Been following the threads here for a while, but too many to always sort thru. I would like to have hdmi pass thru and budget is in the 500 range, thanx

You can look at the Denon AVR 1610 or the better AVR 1910 for the proposed budget. Check their website.

They both have what you are looking for with a good cost benefit.

all the best,

The Denon 2310 is a great buy at that price (especially if volume and GUI overlay over HDMI video is a requirement) and Electronics Expo is a Denon authorized on-line vendor so the 2 year warranty will be honored. All of last year's Denon AVRs (including the 1910 and 2310) offer the ability for HDMI pass through while the AVR is in Standby. Either the LAST HDMI component used or a specific HDMI jack can be selected.
