what do you think of the new chips

I guess the one that most of us will be interested in is this one:

Looks like a faster processor, L2 cache, and 10/100/1000 Ethernet are the standout differences between it and the 8642.

I think the specs look great, but at the same time, they look rather unimportant. In this particular market (more so than others) specs on paper mean very little.

Shipped units with released (not beta) firmware, that have been reviewed by multiple sources are all that matter in this market. As such, I'll wait a year before passing personal judgment on the units that use these chips.
