I need a better setup than what I have now and need some advice on what to buy. I need speakers (5.1), and I think a receiver. I'm renting so can't put speakers in the walls. I'd like two wireless speakers for the rear that will go on each side of my couch and face the middle of the couch where we sit. I'm assuming these two rear speakers will have to be on some kind of stand so the sound isn't blocked by the side of the couch? The two front side speakers will also have to be floor standing but no blockage issues there. The center I can put under my TV in the TV stand. And I can put the subwoofer anywhere. Let's go with about a $1,000 limit. I don't want to spend too much since I'm afraid my toddler might want to mess with the receiver and break it or knock down some speakers.

Comcast HD DVR
