When using these, I assume, Equi=Tech balanced transformers do you recommend adding additional surge protection and/or UPS's for the equipment (any particular type)? In Colorado, the lightning capital of the U.S., especially?
If you're doing a whole-house A/V rack system (where everything is centrally located in a "new construction" build), do you use them to supply balanced power to all
of the equipment throughout the house (TV's, satellite boxes, zoned a/v equipment, networking and control devices like for Control4, etc.), or do you usually use them for only the theater room equipment proper? Or is it one of those "it depends" kinds of scenarios?
