Future proof wiring...what to include...

I am in the process of remodeling my family room and am turning it into a home theater. All of the walls are opened up and I am putting in all new wiring. I have run pvc conduits into the electrical/equipment room and was wondering what wire to include. I am interested in any feedback from anyone as to what wiring they would run / include if they were starting from scratch and why they would run that particular wire...i.e. networking cables, cat 5, etc. I have a couple of weeks to run wire and while I have the chance, I want to include as much as I can...even if I won't be using it for a while. I just want to make sure I have future proofed as much as I can. Thanks in advance for all the input.

Simple answer - figure out what equipment you are putting in and run wiring for that but do it in conduit larger enough that you can pull more wire in the future...

Tubes pull the weird new wire thru that will come out 2 weeks after you do the last coat of paint.

Honestly, I haven't had luck trying to install new wires into existing conduit that already contained wires. The friction drag between the new wires and the old ones was just too much. I ended up having to pull out all the old wires, add the new one to the bunch, then pull them all back through. Pain in the butt.

My recommendation would be to run the wires that you want NOW in one conduit, then run another EMPTY conduit next to it that you can install new wires into. I actually ended up running a second conduit after I had so much trouble with adding a wire to the first one.
