I need a new set of bookshelfs (as mains in a 5.1 setup). I have a big open loft (12 ft ceilings, almost a single room). And I'm purchasing either a Denon AVR-3310 or a Yamaha RX-V3900.

I watch a lot of movies, but also listen to a lot of music. It varies from Jazz to heavy electronic dance music. I have a 10" powered sub that's decent. And I'll pair whatever bookshelf set I get with its corresponding center channel in the series.

So considering the fact that the Jamo set is a good bit cheaper, is the NHT much better? I don't mind spending the extra money if it's worth it, but I'm not sure I have it in my budget to go for the Classic Three which would probably suit my large room better.

Thanks for your input!
