New video just released showing the 'cut' feature of the new MGS game. Looks like VATS and Dead Eye.

At first I was like cool, but that's all there is, glad that's on xbox I've played Ninja Gaiden! Cut. Cut at will. How about Cut it out!

Using a sword, over and over and over and over is going to get so played out.

It's on PS3 too buddy.

I for one would love a game with Kojima's MGS storytelling disperesed with real time ninja action.

The NG reboot was fun and all, but it was pure gameplay and no story. Then they rebooted that. Then the team rebooted that, and master son got pissed and left. Then the team made a sequel and it was more of the same, in hallways. And no one has figured out how to do it half as good on next gen, as the 3rd reboot of a xbox game [which was debatable]

I like my titles to stimulate both my reflexes and my brain. Kojima has already done that with stealth opps.... if he can pull it off with fast action...

Why ruin the MGS series with this, I mean come on he cut through a full size van with a 3 ft sword. I'll admit he was cool in the last Metal Gear but a whole game of slap chop, ehh.

Guys, it says "Lightening Bolt Action" in the title. No way is it going to be a hack and slash game the whole time. This is MGS we're talking about. This is just a glimpse at the impressive slicing and dicing, which I can't wait to play. Plus it's obviously going to work in some sort of lightening bolt action seeing how it's in the title.

And the fact that it actually has precision cutting basically everywhere the sword was swung is really impressive to me. Other sword/ninja games aren't nearly that interactive and precise when it comes to environments and combat.

The fact this is a MGS game and this is a ninja as the main character...assume there will be plenty of stealth worked in there too. Just imagine the truly awesome stealth kills that will probably be in this game. I'm thinking MGS, but with the coolest swordplay ever...plus lightening bolt action! lol I'd preorder it today if I could!

I don't think there's been an annoncement of it, but this could be a very cool game to have Move support.

My greatest fear is my wife recording me pretending to be a ninja and Youtube-ing it.

If nothing else convinces me to buy the Move, a MGS game with Move support certainly would!
