Padding ...padding the post...padding...padding the post...padding..padding (This reminds me of Toot-Toot "Walkin' the walk" as part of the rehearsal for an execution in The Green Mile).
Wouldn't it be a bit more fair to assume good faith on the part of the poster who suggested that Robb might be walking into a trap instead of jumping to the conclusion that he willfully violated the other thread's no spoilers rule? Since you have read the books but still post there, it seems to me you might owe him that.
Padding ...padding the post...padding...padding the post...padding..padding.. My turn....my turn...my turn.
Here's my take on the ongoing theories...
1. I could see where astute show watchers would conclude Robb is walking into some sort of trap for several reasons. Among these are the history of major characters getting killed off, the fact that Robb blatantly insulted and betrayed the Freys, and how conveniently/quickly the Freys agreed to a compromise. Nothing smells right about this. What will likely be the surprise is the actual Red Wedding itself and how it will "go down".
2. I have my suspicions about how the non-spoiler poster lept to as specific of conclusions as he did. Seems to me that it is awfully thorough for just watching the shows, but I guess there are some who will rewatch many times to get nuances.
