This episode was tough for my girlfriend to watch. Probably one of the most disturbing series of events to ever be portrayed in a tv show. The director of this weeks episode must be one sick individual but I really thought it showed the brutality of the time and place and gave us, the viewers a better understanding of what we are dealing with.
I really like how the tv show let's us see different angles of events and is able to basically build upon what we already know from the books. I trust the writers of the show since Martin has told them key plot points of the future of the books. I liked the conversation about who the best fighter is in Westeros at the beginning by the Lannister guards. I really think the horses should have been freaking out a little more with the direwolf so close to them since in the books it is described frequently how much horses fear the and become uneasy until they become familiar with them. I really want to see the CGI big ass direwolves attack someone at some point tho. Grey Wind is truly awesome since he is the wolf that is most involved in battles. Grey Wind really is a "war wolf". Ghost is still my favorite tho.
Also who the hell is this Alyssa girl that sawed off the leg??? That doesn't make any sense unless she is lying about her name.
I really have no issue with Arya becoming Tywin's cup bearer rather than Lord Boltons. I really don't think it will make any difference in the story at all. If anything it will make her story line move along faster.
When will Storms End be shown in the opening title sequence? There is a lot of history there since Brandon the Builder...the creator of the wall and Winterfell also built Storms End. Brandon the Builder is a Stark and the first King in the North or King of Winter. He reigned 8000 years ago.
We also finally got to meet Lord Bolton too and he did not disappoint. "A naked man has few secrets while a flayed man has none". Freakin Awesome!
Bronn continues to be a bad ass in successfully intimidating Ser Merren Trant.
And finally the shadow baby...that scene was truly fantastic and I really hope that they show the shadow baby in action next week.

) Just so they don't have Tywin actions being the same as Bolten's at Harrenhal. Tywin is much more complex than that.
