All I have is a DVI to VGA cable, not sure if that'll skew the results. I'm hooked up to the ATI with VGA atm and it's decent, though I still need glasses to avoid additional blur. Definitely looks better than the ATI via HDMI. Red and Magenta are clear as day. Blue is a little harder to read than on HDMI, but that could be a calibration thing. NeiloTM's 4:4:4 test image is sharp. Gonna yank the ATI and reinstall the Nvidia with EDID. I haven't given up!
I doubt I'll ever be able to eliminate my glasses when viewing an IPS panel. Something about the technology causes my astigmatism to become extremely symptomatic ... you know, the astigmatism I wasn't even aware I had prior to owning an IPS monitor? Yeah. That one.
I've had two separate confirmations that Overscan 0% is the only setting I need to tweak in Catalyst, so I'm configured correctly.
