Just wanted to share my Audessey MultiEQ XT Results
Room Dimension: 15.5 ft L x 10.9 ft W
First Attempt
Speaker Set-up
01 Front : Small (FL +1.0 dB); (FR +1.0 dB)
02 Center : Small (-4.5 dB)
03 Surround : Small (SL -1.5 dB); (SR -2.0 dB)
04 Subwoofer : Yes (-12.0 dB)
05 SW Mode : Norm
06 FL : 9.0 ft
07 FR : 9.2 ft
08 C : 7.2 ft
09 SL : 7.4 ft
10 SR : 7.8 ft
11 SW : 8.5 ft
12 Cr. Over: Adv
13 Cr. F : 40Hz - changed to 80Hz
14 Cr. C : 80Hz
15 Cr. S : 40Hz - changed to 80Hz
16 Cr. LFE : 120Hz
MULTEQ:
MultEQ: Audessey
MultEQ: Byp L/R
MultEQ: Flat
MultEQ: OFF
SVS Subwoofer settings before and during the calibration as follows:
Gain: 12 o"clock
Phase: 0
Crossover: 120Hz
Cossover switch: Disabled
Calibration locations: 8
8---*---7 (couch)
3---1---2 (foot of the bed/behind the couch)
---------
6---4---5 (bed)
***Subwoofer channel level is at -12.0 dB. Decided to redo the calibration by adjusting the gain of the sub to 9 o'clock position. At -12.0 dB, it is at the maximum negative setting that Audyssey can set--which may actually need to be even lower, but that's as far Audyssey can go. I believe ideal target for the sub after running the calibration is between -3 to +3 dB, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Second Attempt
Speaker Configuration Set-up
Front : Small
Center : Small
Surround : Small
Subwoofer : Yes
Distance Check
Front L : 8.6 ft
Front R : 8.8 ft
Center : 6.8 ft
Surround L : 7.6 ft
Surround R : 8.0 ft
Subwoofer : 8.1 ft
Channel Level Check
Front L +0.5 dB
Front R 0.0 dB
Center -5.0 dB
Surround L -1.0 dB
Surround R -1.5 dB
Subwoofer -2.0 dB
Crossover Check
Front : 40Hz - changed to 80Hz
Center : 90Hz - changed to 80Hz
Surround : 40Hz - changed to 80Hz

I would think this is a better result than the first attempt. Subwoofer gain was adjusted to 9 o'clock position before calibration, rendering a result of -2.0 dB channel level. Any thoughts?

My issue with my previous receiver was the result of the sub was always so boomy.
But it's not the same this time around. I also changed the location of the sub by placing it right under the right speaker. That may have also contributed perhaps.
