Thread Starter
i have come across an opportunity to get a Stewart film rigid rear projection screen i dont know a lot about screens and im looking for information that will help me make a decision on what to do. here is the information i have

it is a 96" diagonal screen
screen: Graphite ST OD: 57-1/2" x 76-3/4"
model: wedge096vgps - 14

screen is brand new still crated from stewart and never been opened other then the top of the crate.
it was built about 2 years ago and never used.

i dont know what its worth how it would need to be set up or anything so any info will help thank you

I think you'll need a pretty bright pj for that; check the gain spec.

Also it's probably meant to work with a short throw.

AVS had a .65X lens (will reduce a pj's throw by 1/3) in their clearance sale recently.

Go to the Stewart site at:

Try to find out if it is a Graphite 70 or Graphite 100. Figure out if you have enough projector power to use it through Projector Central.

They are pretty expensive if you order them fresh, but buying a 2 year old model you should expect to pay much less, so bargain hard. If you can't use it, don't buy it.
