home theatre wiring woes

Thread Starter
Just a novice here seeking some assistance re a 4 yr old Pioneer home theatre.
Sent the XV-DVR9H to Pioneer for new hard drive.
Have a Pioneer Plasme 42" , Pioneer Media Box and LG HD Set top.
Have mixed up wiring from recorder to media box and am left with 2 yellow ended RCAs not yet plugged in at media box.
The other end of these cables are plugged into "analogue audio in" sockets on the hard drive.
Can anybody throw some light on this?
Secondly could this be causing a rippling picture (horizontal shaking)on motor sports recordings on the hard drive since the repair?
I believe all the other connections are OK.
Can take photos if this would help

Standard convention is white = left audio, red = left audio, yellow = video. It sounds like the yellow cables are being used for audio in your case, so you could try onnecting to the the audio outputs of the media box.

Pictures would help.
