You will get an error message from DirecTV saying that the TV does not support this resolution, even though we all know that it does. I have tried every setting possible to try and get around this and the only thing that works is to bypass the receiver for DirecTV video and run it straight to the TV. The audio can be run separately to the receiver, but it's annoying to have to use a different input and cable for the TV. This is the receiver, but several receivers have this issue with DirecTV 3D.
