Cost of your home theater setup - Page 5

It has been a while since I bought most of my stuff, but here is what I got going off of memory.

Panasonic TC-P50G25 - $1,200

So right now I am sitting at about $4,600 and I have plans for a DIY sub that is going to run me around $1,000.

Man, I never would have thought when I first got into this hobby a few years a go that I would have so much money wrapped up in it, with still more money to spend on things like room treatments, artwork, etc.

Sub Maelstrom x 21" = ~$75 it's one of the vegas ones. IB setup working fine

Current use Total= $6375 (not including upstairs living room/htpc setup that has probably around $1200 in it)
I am building out a dedicated theater in an unfinished area of the basement this winter so that total will shoot up due to all the material costs with that.



Retired/handed down stuff to other family members:
2x sony vph 1272q crt projectors = bought for $500 each in 1999 = $1000
Onkyo 5.1 reciever on sale = $80
Broken sony 7.1 receiver = $250
random speakers= $200
Subs= $150
