does anyone know where i could buy the panasonic 300 besisdes best buy i think 400 is a little to much money but cant seem to find any online retailers selling it

The 300 is only available at Best Buy. The 350 is the widely sold model, and can be found cheaper than what either go for at Best Buy.

Not sure if you require the Panny for checkerboard output but there is a new model Samsung out there for under $300 that is 3D out of the box, the C6800 (BB does sell it, currently at $287, just looked at it).
