Finally finished my setup. Nothing fancy, just a LG 42PJ550 on the wall. It was a budget build. I really like the end result though...

Nice picture. I like the back light. I have one on my plasma too. I think it makes the picture look even better.

It's still obviously a work in progress.

We still need to paint the ceiling and run crown molding to hide the speaker wire, but other than that it's done (well, phase I is anyway) Thanks guys, we're really pleased with it.

Love that setup. Especially the mounted speakers & painted walls. What size and model TV?
Thanks! It's a Panny P50V10. I think we can go quite a bit bigger so I've already spaced the speakers out to accommodate a 65".

Same here....I can never go back to not using a bias light. I highly recommend something like the Ideal-Lume

Very nice, I like that clean look. Might post a pic of mine tonight or tomorrow after I install the new SVS sub today.

Nice to read this, I just ordered one last night & am looking forward to seeing it in my system.

That's a beautiful setup VicSkimmr, is the hat in there for artistic reasons?

My first Plasma, 58"c7000. Saw a cabinet in this style for $1099 so went in to Bunnings and spent $125 on wood and built one myself! Thankfully everything fit (well until I buy 3 more blu-ray's...)

Had the speakers on 45 degrees but the girlfriend didn't like that idea much - so straight it is...

LOL! Yeah, it was already in there, so I thought, why not stage it a bit?

Yup, I don't think I could back either. I have a 4-strip setup from ledlightingkit (not sure if we can include URLs). I like it because it comes with a remote so I can program my Harmony - this allows me to dim or turn off the light if I don't feel like having it on.

There are some really nice looking setups in here. I'm a proud new owner of a Panasonic 58VT25. My setup is still a work in progress. Not sure how I'm going to hide the cables. Any suggestions would be much appreciated...

Hey VicSkimmr, where are you putting the stuff like the dvd player, amp, receiver, etc?

I'm in the process of doing a similar setup (not as much space for width), and I'm not sure where the electronics will go. I have a closet behind the wall, I could either make a door into the wall or hmmm.

It's 2 "Besta" cabinets from Ikea that I combined with some brackets. If you have a closet behind the wall you could always do a built in for extra pimpness.

Zip tie them down the legs! It'll be a start anyway...

Run them behind the base board and install some nice speaker wall plates.
