Hi everyone,
I've owned my Pioneer PDP-5080HD since July of '07. It has worked very well since then. Recently, I've encountered a 'flicker' issue though, and I'm not quite sure how to diagnose it:
On certain sources (Blu-Ray player and XBox 360) the TV will produce a 'flicker' every so often. It looks like the screen goes black for a brief second (probably milliseconds, actually). It appears like a shutter, almost as if the TV blinked an eye-lid. I have not seen this occur with the TV antenna source. I have a Verizon cable-card hooked into the card slot of the TV.
I have the TV and the antenna cable surge protected, and there has been no physical damage to the TV, screen, or input ports. Any ideas why this could be happening? Thanks in advance.
