I would like to put a 65" plasma in front of a fireplace so that the fireplace isn't blocked, and the plasma is as low as possible. I am not aware of any plasma mounts that move vertically, so I am thinking of a three sided stand that surrounds the fireplace, that would not be damaged by heat, and would support the plasma. It would not have to hold any other components.
Is there anything commercially available? If not, what would be a good material to use to construct one?
