$5 Mass Effect 2? That earns a "Buy it!" from me. $10 Portal 2 is also something that I highly recommend! The Oddbox is extremely interesting for $4. There is some great world-building going on there, though the ports from Xbox were somewhat poor when they launched. I'd check the Steam forum to see if they've been improved since.

For myself? I've already got everything on offer that I have interest in. Hopefully something cool pops up tomorrow for me.

I still have hope someone at widescreengamingfourms will make that Mass Effect Eyefinity fix. Game is tempting me in my library and came close to playing it on a single display.

Damn, Amazon had Mass Effect 2 for $5, and I ended up buying it there before I saw that Steam had it. I tried activating the code on Steam but it didn't work.

Yeah I know but I'd rather download them right now so when I want to play them, they are ready!

I still have 12 Gb left for less than two weeks, I think I'll be fine... if the sale isn't crazy and I need to buy more games

If a GotY edition is 20 bucks yeah that'd be the better deal. NV by itself for 5 bucks would be a good deal had the game not had any DLC. As it stands if you want the complete experience waiting would be the better deal. Normally I'd say not to worry about DLC but NV DLC actually ties really well into the main story so to me it's worth the wait for the inevitable GotY.

All of the DLC was $11. $11 + $5 = $16. $16 < $20. Math, it's what's for dinner.

Last I heard, Vegas DLC is also done. That $16 package was the GOTY version.
$16 for NV + all DLC is a no-brainer... as long as you like those games, of course. Crazy cheap for many hours of first rate gameplay.

Really, because I'm looking on Steam right now and all the DLC adds up to $23. Throw in NV at 10 bucks (as of right now) and that's 13 dollars more than what the GotY is assumed to be. At the time I'm assuming the price was lower, I didn't check. If it was then yeah that was a great deal. If you didn't jump on it then either wait for the next deal or wait for the GotY. The smartass comment wasn't needed.

Maybe you should've tried comparing the prices when they were on the one-day special (75% off) instead of the current sale (50% off). Not to mention, the GOTY edition will be at least $30 (and quite possibly $40) when it first comes out.

Dead Space 2 is $5.

Last day was pretty weak IMO.

In all the sale I picked up :

Orcs must die!
Limbo
Mass Effect 2
Civ 5 DLC - Viking and Polynesia
I picked up Section 8 : Prejudice 4pk and it was well worth the little money I spent. Playing through the campaign right now to get the hang of game b4 I venture to MP. I like how the developers were influenced by Tribes, one of classics from back in my young days. If this comes up during the Christmas sale I encourage ppl to pick it up.

Having trouble finding ten games that I don't own yet to put on my wishlist, but apparently there's a contest on Steam where they're giving away your top ten wanted games, 10 people a day.

I also picked 10, it was hard to fill the last spots.

Borderlands is on sale for the next few hours. Both GOTY and regular with DLC. It's a steal deal with the game being priced under $10 with the DLC.

It looks nice but I read it was awful. Been contemplating buying it but I don't want to pay more than $5 for it myself if it's remotely possible that it's a supreme stinker. Since I haven't put together my new gaming rig, I'm in no hurry to do anything other than stockpile Steam games during the sales.

I wouldn't waste your money on it. MP was a nice change of pace back when it released, but if you're considering buying it, make sure it still has a community playing (thought PC was pretty dead even from the start). SP isn't even worth $5 unless you're bored to tears (may be 4 hours long).
