Thank you guys.

Anyone have Empire Total War? I'm thinking about buying some of the DLC for $.80 but not sure if I'll be playing it much again...
LA Noire Complete for $12.50 today. Haven't played it on the PC but the game is great, especially for that price.

I just got it at that price, couldn't resist, it's a great deal, especially since the normal version most people played payed $60 just months ago.

I almost regret paying games at full price/high prices these days (Battlefield 3, MW3).

So I ended up with 37 of the 78 Winter Achievements, but I think like 37 of the 40 in games I own.

Ended up with three gifts of games I already own (two of those might be unrelated to the winter thing I think), 6 coals, and 13 coupons.

So basically useless, but it was still fun either way. I know I joked about Valve making me play the games I own, but anything that encourages me to play some of the ignored stuff in my account is kind of fun.

Some of the games ended up sucking, but there's a few that I'll at least plan on returning back to.

I know I'm late to the party but I got Portal 2 for 7.49. Wanted another online co-op to play with my brother and he said it's pretty fun so I'll try this out. Just finished co-op Saints Row 3 and as I expected it was awesome.

Thats a very nice haul. Should keep you occupied for awhile.
Think you'll ever play all those? Bahaha.

I bought 5 games or so and I know I'll probably never play a few of them. I'm dying to play Divinity 2 but I'm so tied up with Skyrim I don't know when I'll get to anything else.

Arkham City is next up for me.
I'm all set for the coming apocalypse and my time in the Vault. Just need to put together a new gaming machine.

No. Most of the ones I bought were the $2-$5 games that had the winter achievement tied to it. I bought the game, installed, got the achievement, uninstalled. Like I said, I was feeling very cheeve whorish over the past two weeks.
It doesn't REALLY matter to me because my savegames are on the 360, but apparently Mass Effect 3 isn't going to be on Steam, but instead only on Origin. I actually re-bought ME1 and ME2 on Steam during sales just because it was cheap and I figured it'd be nice to have the PC versions, but I won't get ME3 unless it's on Steam.

It's not that I have anything against Origin, per se, but I just don't want two separate programs each with their own games. It's easier if everything is all combined into one, so I don't buy any PC stuff anywhere but Steam anymore.
Well I have to say that I love Steam myself and it is definitely the best gaming service out there, but there is no way I could just not buy a game because it is not sold through Steam. I have had Steam, Origin, and Impulse on my PC together now for close to a year and I have never had any issues, and I play multiple games through each of these programs and have never had any issues. Just last night I played some Battlefield 3 on Origin, then switched to some Civ 5 on Impulse, and then finished the night off with some Skyrim via Steam. Steam is no longer the cheapest place to buy games, and some big party games aren't even available through them. I go to who has the game I want to play, and if both have it, then I will got to Origin or Impulse if it is considerably cheaper. Now don't get me wrong, Steam is still the best. But I could not imagine building and bad ass gaming rig and then not buying a new game on the PC format "just because its not on Steam". Now you have added another criteria for your game purchase. To purchase a game it usually has to have at minimum 1) good reviews, 2)cheap price, and now 3) available through Steam.

I have played the first two Mass Effects on PC. There is no way I would play the third one on my Xbox 360 just because it is not on Steam. To each his own I guess.
What I'm wondering for Mass Effect 3 is the save game.. i have Mass Effet in physical form. ME2 on steam and will probably get ME3 on Origin. Would have have simplier to have it all on steam to keep the save game at the same place

Free copy of Midnight Club II on Steam right now. Just join the Rockstar group.

Also too:

Workshop sale. Portal 2 is at a "if you don't already have it then you'd better buy this, otherwise you might be kind of dumb, you should get that looked at" $7. Skyrim is at $40.
Thanks for the headsup DLJ. Lots of good stuff there.

I haven't bought Portal 2 yet so I may jump on it for that price.

I doubt I'll play Midnight Club II but it's a pretty small price to pay to simply join the Rockstar group for the free game. Add it to my library incase I get bored one day.
Add to it that the company of Heroes set is on sale. All three for $10 or individual at $4.
Can't wait for the July 4th sale. A little more than a month to go!
FYI, the Dream Machine was released on Steam today, and it's a great point-and-click adventure. Only 3 out of 5 chapters are finished so far, but they've been really good so far.

No idea when 4 or 5 are coming out, because it's all done in claymation, so it might be a while, but still worth it.

Yeah, I know it's a bit insane that I still didn't buy it at that price, but I have a firm $5 or less requirement right now. Backlog is too overflowing to consider a higher price ceiling. I've passed on Crysis 2 for $9.99, Portal 2 for $7.50 and Witcher 2 for $9.99.

Too many damn games on my backlog, and not enough hours in my life....

Still no Summer sale boooo.
The last couple of years the sale has started the last thursday of June. Latest word/rumor is that it will start July 12th.

HAHAHA here is the example of the mounting frustration of a lack of sale:

yeah nothig really on that list for me. Just as well I suppose!
So, there still isn't any date as to when the sale officially starts? Or is there ?

The minute I leave on vacation and am off the grid for a couple of days is when all the best sales will be. I'll come back to civilization and find out all the deals are expired, heh..
Still nothing official. The rumor is still the 12th, afaik.
That list shows only the indie bundles for each day, not the daily deals. Also the list of other bundles has been updated each of the last few days, so there's a possibility there will be more bundles added before the sale starts.
