killing floor for $5.10
I'm now at nine objectives completed and need one more out of the last four they release tomorrow to be entered into the big drawing. I did it with the games I had, the free easy ones offered and the purchase of two games I'd have gotten on sale anyway (Chime and JC2). I'm glad that you didn't really need to throw away money to qualify (plus you could've mailed in a request for for free entry I understand).
yeah I need two objectives. Unfortunately, there's only 3 tomorrow. My guess is I'll have to buy something. Not doing that
post #94 of 1864
I have a backup plan if the next set is terrible. I never loaded up L4D2 even though I've had it formonths after a Steam sale. I'll get #10 that way if need be.

I really hope this Treasure Hunt garbage isn't their Christmas sale this year. It's been utterly disappointing compared to past years. I'm hoping they've been building up to a grand finale.

Nope Christmas sale begins later on today. I have no idea what games I would buy as there hasnt been too much that has caught my eye. Most of them I picked up already. lol But I know I will get into the buying fever like last years sale.

Super Meat Boy for $4?!? If you don't buy that, then you have no soul.
It's kind of bittersweet for me as I already own pretty much everything I wanted this year. Was just waiting for Shift to drop, as I knew it would for the sale. I also want New Vegas but just a pinch under $40 isn't a good enough deal just yet. $25, I'd jump on that.

Got Bad Company 2 for $6.79. It's one of the Daily Deals today.

HOLY CRAP

I've been waiting for it to go below $10. Might have to pick it up.

Then I get to re-do everything again! lol. Might be worth it for the graphical improvements... hmm...

Hooray, the sale is here!! Bout time! Scott, I'm on NFS: Shift!!

Cool! You guys should definitely join in for some PC BC2 and maybe even Vietnam. Hell, maybe if we liked it enough and had more AVS'ers playing, we could start our own AVS BC2 server and play it how we want.

Damn, right! It's a pretty fun racer with sort of sim-cade handling. I like it but it's polarizing for many other racer fans. I didn't get to play much MP on the 360 version but I'd like to do a whole lot more. And more Dirt2!

I loaded a lot of them just to get the objective for playing a bunch of games/demos.

Just picked up Burnout:Paradise for $5.

Man, I'd love to see the sales statistics on these mega Steam sale events.

Paradise is a great game. Spent plenty of time in the 360 version.
Thinking about picking up burnout. I had it for the ps3 but recently traded in, knowing if I wanted to play it again I could pick it up on steam for cheap. That day has come. Witcher is lookin tempting also.. played some of it back when it first came out. Good game, but I dunno if I have the time to devote to game like that.

Picked up Burnout Paradise, Winterbottom and Iron Grip: Warlord (looks interesting FPS w/ some RTS elements online coop.. $2.50 daily special today)

PB Winterbottom is $0.49! It was worth $10 easy when I bought it on 360. You have to toss this one in on your next order dudes! Weird, thoughtful, twisted little game.

Okay. Grabbed Witcher, Burnout, Winterbottom, and the interesting looking Polynomial.

$14. Not bad.
nothing for me today. Have burnout for ps3 but didn't really get into it.
If anyone is interested, checkout http://www.humblebundle.com/ Its a bunch of indie developers selling their games in a bundle with proceeds going to Child's Play and other charities. If you give over $7.34 right now, you get the first bundle for free. Thats 11 games for low price to a good cause. Oh most of the games are Steam enabled or if not will be in the near future. They provide you with a link with the steam key after purchase.

Anyone know if Operation Dragon Rising Flashpoint something or other is any fun? Looks like a more strategic COD4 clone maybe? For three bucks, it's the only thing tempting me today.

DLJ, it's not very good. It was promoted as a tactical shooter, but it is just boring and buggy.
