Picked up Arkham City and the Harley Quinn add-on for like 26 bucks. Finally at the point where I want to try a new game. That is until the DLC for Skyrim comes out and then it's back to that game for awhile.

Skyrim at 50% off...tempting.

Not tempting enough for me. $24.99 would have been VERY tempting, but I typically will wait for $19.99 or less. Normally, I wait for $7.49 or $4.99 or $5.99, but with Skyrim, it will be another year or more before it gets that low. However, I'm guessing within the next 6 months it will hit $19.99 at some point, and that's when I'll jump on it. I just bought Borderlands ($4.99) and Half-Life 2 ($2.49), not to mention the tons of games sitting on my hard drive.

:eek:You didn't go for the GOTY on Borderlands!? Oh man, that DLC adds sooooo much more fun to the game, just ask Scott, he and I have played that game over a dozen times.

Same here. Besides I'm worried I won't like it like I hated Fallout 3 and Oblivion.

I must be the only person who loves Borderlands but didn't like any of the DLC.

If you hated Oblivion then waiting for a better price on Skyrim is a good idea.

Yeah, I've heard a lot about the DLC on various podcasts and such. Thing is, I have so many freaking games on my backburner, that I just don't need to worry about all the DLC and that kind of stuff. I mean, Fallout 3, one of my favorite games of all time, still isn't finished, and I did get the GOTY version of that, so I have all the DLC to that (or most of it). So, when it comes to DLC, I'll try some of the Fallout 3 DLC and such, but just didn't think I'd super need the DLC to Borderlands, cause it's doubtful that I'd ever have time to really get to it. Plus, I can always buy it later on if I really felt it was critical to have it.

I can understand that. I have close to 300 games on Steam and very few that I've finished. It's just one of those things where it's 2.50 more for all the documents so in my shoes I'd say screw it and get them cheap now.

Is there a way to turn off the annoying advertisement for Tapatalk every time you post, Marafice?

Lol, I must be so used to seeing that on every other forum. tongue.gif

But it is.... dare I say it?

What games are you guys hoping go on a huge sale ?

For me it's :

Crysis 2 - missed my last chance to buy this at $7.99, hoping for $7.49 or below

Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare - $9.99 or less (even tho it should be $5)

Rage - missed my last chance at $9.99. Would buy at $7.99 or less....

Fallout New Vegas - $4.99 or less, maybe $7.49 for GOTY

Dirt 3 - $4.99 or less

Witcher 2 - $4.99 (lol)

Dead Space 2 - $4.99 (I might already own this... have to check)

Fifa Soccer 12 - $4.99

Can't really think of any others at the moment.
I own pretty much all I wanted to own save for just a couple titles.

Want to pick up Crysis 2 for cheap and I'm also looking to get Take On Helicopters for cheap.

I really haven't found anything too intriguing. I got Half Life 2 on a flash sale and picked up hte TellTale Games pack, but other than that , I haven't been too eager to purchase.

The Telltale games pack is good though. Has all 5 episodes of Walking Dead (only 2 have been released so far), all episodes of Back to the Future, Monkey Island, Jurassic park (hear this one wasn't as good as others) and some other puzzle game.
I've mostly just been creating a back-fill for myself... Games I didn't care enough about at the time to pay full for, and then forgot about.

- Dead Island
- Fallout 3 + New Vegas
- Dead Space 1 & 2
.. and some random other stuff on impulse buy

Should keep me busy for a decent while!

From my experience, Jurassic Park was terrible, it's almost entirely dialog and quick time events. Walking Dead is excellent so far. Back to the Future was mostly good. Puzzle Agent was fun and quirky, but the puzzles were a little too easy for my tastes. I haven't tried Monkey Island, but I hear that's good as well. For the price of this pack you really can't go wrong, though it's a pretty good deal if you just pick and choose games as well.

I haven't really picked up much this time around myself though. It'll depend on what deals there are, but so far the two big ones I've gotten are Skyrim and Max Payne 3. I've got so many other games on Steam that I just know that I'm not going to play most of this stuff, no matter how good of a game it is.

Damn... Rage is $9.99. I would have bought at it at $7.99, but won't go over 8 bucks for it. Some might think I'm out of my mind to fret over 2 bucks, but I have to set limits for these games. I've got maybe 20 to 25 games lined up that are very worthy of being played, and I can't just keep adding more and more games to that list, unless they are so cheap that not adding them to the list would be foolish. If Rage was $7.99 or $7.49, or something, I'd definitely snag it.....

Guess I'll have to wait for the winter sale, or maybe an Amazon deal or something.
I'm finding plenty of stuff for $2.50 or $4.99 that I dig. The biggest purchases were The Walking Dead and L4D2.
So far:
Capsized
Witcher
L4D2
Walking Dead
Frozen Synapse
Grotesque Tactics
Lara Croft GOL
Legend of Grimrock
KOTOR
Terraria
Torchlight

So far Grimrock is my favorite but I've put a lot of time into Lara Croft too. Dungeon crawling is tougher with a baby crawling around. If anybody is into platformers or Metroidvania type of things Capsized is pretty damn good.

Nice! So far I just have Toy Soldiers. Almost bit on X3, but couldn't figure out which one to get. By the time I figured out that Albion needed the base game, there was just one minute left to pick up Terran Conflict. Oh, well. It'll probably be on sale again in the next couple days.

Crysis 2 is the flash deal for the next 4 hours. $11.99

Dug into Capsized last night and man is it good. Picked Y's Oath in Felghana as well.
I've bought a ton of stuff... really.

The Witcher 2
Fallout New Vegas
Total War Shogun 2
Orcs Must Die!
Tomb Raider Anniversary
Red Faction Guerrilla
Alan Wake's American Nightmare

Believe it or not I'm only buying stuff on flash or daily deals and only buying stuff on my wish list. It's a big wish list, but I'm really trying hard not to be impulsive here.

It's a great looking game too. Bought it last summer...need to put some more time into it.

For some reason I fell for LA Noire again - wasn't a fan of it on PS3, but for $5 figured I'd give it another shot. Grabbed Age of Empires 3 as well - loved AOE2 and never got around to trying 3. Only spent about $20 so far.

If anyone like games with music, I highly recommend Audiosurf. Think it's $2.50 still - it's a racer where you have to collect notes and the tracks are dynamic based off the song you choose to play to (you can link to iTunes too).

Tempted to pick Total War Pack for 12,49$ and Thief Collection for 6,49$!

Was always interested in Empire Total War and now with the complete pack at 75% it's very interesting! I could pick Shogun 2 later.

So Far I have purchased:

Witcher 2 - $16
Fallout: NV (Ultimate Edition) - $9.99
Batman: Arkham City - $12.49
Trine 2 - $4.79
Sniper Elite V2 - $15.99
Sniper Elite V2 (Hitler DLC) - $5.35
Just Cause 2 (with ALL 7 DLC's) - $5.92
Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands - $2.49
Darkness 2 - $12.49
Deus Ex: Human Revolution (with DLC) - $12.46

I can't believe all the wonderful games I got for next to nothing.

So far the 2 games that I am most impressed with are:

Witcher 2 - This is without a doubt the De facto game to test your GPU's. This game is quite simple the most Beautiful game I have ever played (I use to think it was Crysis). I am playing on Ultra (with Ubersampling Disabled) and running 40-50 FPS. I have a Sapphire Radeon 7850 (OC Edition), i7-920 @ 2.9GHz and 12GB DDR3 @1333MHz. The game is really fun as well. It is a very detailed game and will take awhile to play. RPG Elements are wonderful and I am Very, Very Impressed with this game.

Sniper Elite V2 - What a Kick Ass game. Gorgeous Graphics, great locales and the X-Ray system is Too Damn Cool. I shot a guy in the Balls and the X-Ray Cam showed his Testicles falling down his skeletal system, that is Frigging Awesome:D All the X-Ray Cams are so cool. Getting that Headshot from a distance is very gratifying.

I just feel I have no need for the Xbox 720 or PS4 as my PC will be able to play 90% of games those 2 systems will get (with better graphics and mods) other than Exclusive games for each (which is no big deal for me anymore). I will get the Wii U and call it a day. My PC (Gaming Rig) is more powerful than either of the 2 Next Gen consoles (by far) and with Steam I will get Incredible deals on AAA games.

Picked up the Total War Pack last night. Was tempted to pick up all the games you just listed ( Witcher 2, Fallout NV, Sniper Elite, etc) but I already have alot in my backlog, just picked up 4 games in the pack and I'm busy playing Diablo 3.... guess I'll pick the other games Summer Sale ~2013 or 2014when I'll have time tongue.gif

Witcher 2 at just around 6 hours in has become one of my favorite games ever.

I'm hoping Last Remnant gets the public choice for sale, I want that to scratch my JRPG itch and it it gets pretty good reviews on the PC side.

I've only heard good thing about the game. Since I haven't finish the first one and my GPU can't handle it at max, I'll skip it for a while.

I'm around 6 hours in the first one and I didn't get hooked (lots of comments saying this, the 2 first chapters are kinda meh). Witcher 2 corrected this.
