One last attempt on my part before I suggest an exorcist. If your PC is overclocked, try setting it back to default for a test.
The chips in your PC have been tested to run at the speed they are sold for. By overclocking them you are runing them at speed at which they failed the manufacturers tests.
knight, I suggest you restate the all of the details of your confiugation and your problem in detail.

dKnight,
Are you sure that your Acer GD245HQ monitor will accept 3D HD resolution content over HDMI and not only over a Dual link DVI interface at 120Hz?
I was unable to link to a user manual for your monitor for any details about it.

It's dual link DVI only.

The GTX 260 card does not provide hardware acceleration support for the decoding of 3D BR MVC content. Only the GTX 240 card and the GTX 4XX cards do.

I have a 9600 gt that powerdvd 10 3d say it will play 3d blu-rays with hardware acceleration when i play the movie in 3d the hardware acceleration turns off.

what am I doing Wong?

i do not want a video card that uses a lot of power or I will just go out and buy a blu-ray 3d player.
The 9600 card only has harware acceleration for decoing 2D BR content. PowerDVD 10 [markII] can only use harware acceleration for decoding of 3D disk in 3D mode using one of the cards I listed above.

What display? If your doing 720p/120fps sequential projection, you will need 3D Vision.

I haven't read too many posts since you got your DLP projector working with 3D Blu-ray, John. After a week or so of using it, how do you like what you're seeing?

I have a 50" samsung dlp that dose 3d in 1080p and Xpand X102 3d shutter glasses.
Tailjerry,
If you have a 3D capable 1080p DLP TV that it will accept 3D content in Checkerboard format contained within 1080p frames. It then will display the content at 960x1080/60.
Well talljerry you shouldn't need 3D Vision then.

The 3D on my 106" screen at 720p is the best 3D I have seen period. beats the cinema pretty handily.

Conversions are cool. I got to watch Avatar in converted 3D and it was darn impressive.

Sharp, no ghosting... I had to crank the red channel on the projector before fine tuning it within the software to get it even close to correct. Reds are way muted even with this new system. Not sure why.

I really do hate all this crud.....

Total Media Theater gives me DD / DTS just fine with my on the motherbaord sound system via SPDIF, Optical out on my board even.

Power DVD 10 Mark II, only work if the sound system is on it's list of compatible sound cards...

I mean jeazle... The thing should work with any windows audio system.

So I only get two channel... That really sucks. I mean I don't even want lossless though HDMI. It won't do anything but two channel with my on board audio system.

It stinks becuase I am having lots of other issues with Total Media Theater, but the audio worked correctly. UUUHHGGGG

just for reference

i have a Q6600 / 2GB & HD5450 / PDVD10 MII that copes with 3DBluray (software Mode Only) CPU is at about 50-60%. "Cloudy waco Meatballs".
PDVD 3D setting = "3D Ready TV"
Samsung PN50A450 = stilling waiting for the 3D glasses kit though!

my sig is fine also.

Last night, with 3D Vision, a spoof .inf display driver file for windows 7, PDVD10, I got to watch the sharpest 3D I have ever seen, including the local cinema plex.

I was using DPL-link x102 glasses from XpandD

how dose DPL-link x102 glasses compar to 3D Vision glasses?

I will buy GeForce GT 240 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 soon because its only 85.00 and 55.00 after mail in rebate.

I am putting in a 240 and taking out the 470.. To much card for me and my HDDVR card won't work with it in there.
