The Final Decision - Sony cx350v or cx300v?

Hi guys, I have been reading and reading and comparing constantly over the past few weeks.

I was originally set on getting either the Canon HF S200 or the Sony cx350v.. but I think I have narrowed it down between the Sony cx350v and the cx300v.. can anyone tell me, are they EXACTLY the same except for no gps and smaller hard drive in the 300?

I am buying a camcorder TODAY and it is solely for shooting my upcoming newborn and onward, so I wanted good low light performance because I will be shooting indoors a LOT, and for a long time.. and excellent image quality of course.. I tried the 350 in store and it seemed nice, but I don't know anything.

So if I don't care for the gps, should I save money and get the 300 instead? If anyone has any additional input on whether or not this is a good choice for my needs, it would be very welcome.

Thanks.

As far as I know the CX300E and CX350E are exactly the same except the 300E has 16GB internal memory while the 350E has 32GB. The CX350VE is the one with GPS. I have the XR350E which has the 160GB internal hard disk, no GPS. The XR350VE has hard drive and GPS. You can see samples of my videos taken with the 350 in my Blogs. Hope this helps.

I have the HDR-CX300. 16GBs and NO GPS. After doing my research for the CX300, I can say with some authority that the CX300 is exactly the same as a CX350v, minus the GPS and an additional 16GBs
