what's the diffrence between the LX900 & HX909. Do they compare to the Samsung C8000???
The HX909 is an 3D LED/LCD Full Backlit with local dimming that has a new opticontrast panel which is available in 46/52. The LX900 is edge LED with opticontrast with the 3D emitter built in and two pairs of 3D glasses in the box. The LX900 also has new features like Intelligent Presence sensor and Intelligent MPEG NR.
Essentially the HX909 is a better 2D TV than the LX900. The LX900 has every feature, bells and whistles Sony does but you move to Edge LED instead of full backlit.
The HX800 technically compares with the C8000 since Samsung has precision dimming on the C8000 and the HX800 has the same type of dimming (named Dynamic Edge LED). More info can be found on the Bravia 2010 Lineup Thread.
The early general consensus is that the Sony 3D performance is better than the Samsung and almost if the not the same as the Panasonic 3D.
