I currently have a Clarion DXZ745MP HU. I've ordered a Clarion DXZ785USB mainly for the USB input on that unit.
Are the two units "plug and play" compatible? I was able to find pictures of the wiring harness plug (a 16 pin thing) for the DXZ745MP but could not find a picture or any information about the wiring harness for the DXZ785USB.
The two units have similar specs, but not identical. Particularly the DXZ745MP has low pass cross over and the DXZ785USB has a three way active cross over.
I was hoping to be able to pull the old one out and plug the new one in. Done. But after comparing the specs more carefully, I'm not sure.
