Center channel to match Polk M60s

My older setup was R50s with a CSi25 center channel (dual 6 1/2", single 3/4" tweeter). I just snagged a pair of Monitor 60s and was curious what the "matching" center channel for these is? I was thinking probably the CS10 since it uses the same 5 1/4" drivers and 1" tweeter.

The "matching" center is the Polk CS1 which can be had for < 100 dollars on newegg. Many people prefer the Polk CS2 with the Monitor 60's and 70's, myself included. Unfortunately, newegg is out of stock so my suggestion would be to check out the polk direct ebay site because they often go for < 100 as well.

Where have you seen a new CS2 for under $100?! The cheapest I can find on eBay is $189 shipped...?

They're factory refurbished and come with warranties from Polk. I've bought from the polk direct ebay store before and the speakers I've received have all come in the manufacturer's packaging and look brand spanking new.

I would've thought the M60 matches to the CS1 and the M70 matches to the CS2.

The specs on those two are virtually the same. Only difference is the CS1's 3dB lower limit is 5Hz higher. Logic says to just get the CS1 since it's virtually identical in spec and costs less.

The woofer sizes are also 5.25" vs 6.5"; with the CS1 matching the M60 with 5.25", and the CS2 matching the M70 with 6.5".

Currently out of stock but they'll get more in at the beginning of August if you can wait.

If not, bid on one of these...

The last few winning bids have been between $80-100.

You get 2 year warranty from Polk.

Well damn, I never realized they got down that low... thanks for the info!

I now have the newegg deal set to auto-notify.

Now, if only I could find a cheap black TV riser to put the CS2 into...

I guess I'm even wondering what those new ones offer versus my current speaker. It's an older CSi25. It looks like the upper frequency limit was pushed out to 25KHz from my 22KHz. Otherwise it seems the same (save the cosmetic updates).

It saves me from having to answer 5 more questions and PM's because people don't know how to search on their own....

Newegg has the cherry CS10 for $99 w/$2.99 shipping right now. The CS20 is $199.

Technically these are matched to the newer TSi series but I would think it's fine with the Monitor 60s?
