The Glades on A&E-HD - Page 2

This episode was great and nice to see they are fleshing out Jim more and also love the Jim and Carlos banter scenes ;-)
I initially thought Callie being married to a man in prison was going to be the major stmbling block to the relationship between her and Jim but it seems Jodie the MIL is going to make things rough too . Do not trust her one bit and the battle lines are already being set up for her and Jim. Should be interesting !

Yeah I liked that last episode too. Show is getting better for sure.

Another great episode but wish Callie would just admit she likes Jim and get their romantic relationship started ..
Also want to see more of the Carlos and Jim friendship !

Another great epsode and one of the best plot twists at the end ..

What's the inside word on this show for a possible renewal ?
^ Ratings have been solid, hovering in the 3 million range, so it's a safe bet-assuming that it continues at that level, it'll get a second season.

Unfortunately it did drop

The Glades
- 2.799 million viewers
- 1.8/3 HH
- 0.7/2 A18-49

With all of the promos they put out on this I just hope they give it a chance and renew it for another season. It's still a good show and it's got great potential, IMO.

Another great episode and never expected the pcychic lady to get killed either. Nice plot twist .
Liked the Jim & Callie scenes and interesting that that Jim's date Heather is actually Matt Passmore's real life girlfriend but gotta say while it was a hoot watching them his chemistry with Kiele is the one that's captivating.
Don't know how far TPTB will go with Jim & Callie but something has to happen since these two are oozing sexual tension .
Carlos and Jim are just hilarious to watch !

Is this good for the show ?

3 million viewers is considered very, very good for a basic cable show in primetime on a Sunday-the most watched night of the week, no less. And the advertiser coveted demographic numbers should have the network honchos dancing.

Cool Westly- C and I was very happy it jumped up again after its decline last week !
I'll be very disappointed if A&E does not renew this show!

Me too! I was skeptical when I saw the ads for the show before it started, but I was hooked at the first episode. It's great. I love Jim's sarcastic wit...and I also agree that the interaction between Jim and Carlos is funny to watch.

The characters definitely make this show a winner, and the stories have so far been fairly offbeat as well.

I agree which is why I'll be very disappointed if A&E does not renew this show

She'll be the female lead in the Criminal Minds spinoff come midseason.

Interesting. I had mixed feelings about the spinoff episode this past season, but since I really like Criminal Minds I will be giving it a shot

This is one of our favorites. Up there with White Collar for best cablenet drama (for us).

I just caught up with the episode. I was wondering how they were going to tell us (and Jim) that Callie really was from Tamarac. The look on his face when she said that was priceless.

I also loved the scene in Doppelganger with Jim, Carlos and the Cuban merchant. Being really familiar with the Cuban accent, I thought the guy was a bit over-the-top but it made it even funnier.

I agree .. I love Carlos and Daniel on this show too .. I think everyone is great !!
I liked tonite's episode but got a bit confused on who did what to the guy - his partner trued to poison him and the kid killed him self defense but wasn't he also shot ?
Anyway how did Jeff hack the computer if Jim blocked it ?
Next week looks like the Jim & Callie story arc is heating up thanks to Callie getting some competition forcing her to admit she has feelings for Jim so that will be interesting !

No, he only had puncture wounds, but they had a tough time determining cause of death.

I think the way Jeff got around the block was that Jim disabled searches, but Jim had checked on him before and a direct link was in the past history, so it went straight to the record. I have no idea how a PC is set up for the police station, but most browsers have a recent history and that's what Jeff found and it took him straight to pay dirt.

Ok thanks rebkell I'm not puter savvy But maybe next time Jim should let Daniel do that stuff instead LOL!!

I confused puncture wounds with being shot so thanks for the clarification. It now makes sense

I watch so many of these shows that picking the kiiller is usually a piece of a cake, but The Glades has tricked me twice, including last night.

I was very surprised by the reveal of the killer and never saw that one coming at all . I like it when a show can pull out a plot twist like this . It keeps things interesting and refreshing !

Next week I'll get a Jim & Callie kiss Woo-Hoo .. These two are SIZZLING .. Passmore and Sanchez bring the heat to this show like Donovan and Anwar do to Burn Notice..
Both are charismatic couples !

If it turns out to be one or the others "Dream" I may have to boycott the show for a few weeks. So far the show has tended to avoid a lot of the usual cliches, but if they play the whole intentional teaser misdirect card I'll be disappointed.
