I could be wrong but I'm thinking it might be the real deal since Callie is supposed to get jealous after seeing Jim interacting with the lady cop and then the next 2 episodes are heavy Jim & Callie episodes so I"m thinking this might be the episode which jumpstarts Jim & Callie into romantic aspect . But I'm still hoping they take it slow and not have them hitting the sheets already.. Kisses are nice but I'd really like to see them on a couple of dates and getting to know more about each other first before any comsummation takes place

I wasn't crazy about the murder case but that kiss at the end was both HOT and funny and I was laughing my ass off watching it :-)
Callie is far from ready but you could see her frustration and the expression on Jim's face was absolutely priceless LOL !!
That scene alone was worth watching the show :-)

Other than the first 5 minutes which were awesome the 9/12 show wasn't one of my favorite episodes.

When does Callie actually go to class? She's always at the hospital or traipsing around to some interesting places (gotta love Ocala). 1st Year Medical School, I don't think so. OK I admit it's a TV show and it's not supposed to be realistic, but most 1st year Med Students i know put in somewhere on the order of 70-80 hours in class or studying per week minimum. University of Phoenix Online Medical School?

Yeah I noticed that 'plot hole' too. Kinda ignored it.

Is the audio on this show in Dolby Digital?

Every tv series has gigantic plot holes and The Glades is no different so I just accept it and enjoy the show plus I happen to enjoy the Jim & Callie scenes so the more of them the better I like the show !!

Why is Heather suddenly back on the show ? Callie finally admits she has feelings for Jim and wants to divorce and Jim reacts by screwing around with Heather ? What a jerk and completely out of character since he has been pursuing Callie all along ?
Don't get this at all !!

Any thoughts about the season finale ?
I loved it ! Jim & Callie finally got together and the kiss Jim gave Callie was both SWEET & SEXY combined !

Thought it was an alright finale. Set things up nicely for season 2.

Do you trust Ray ? I do not trust one for a sec !! I think he is so playing Callie and using Jeff to do it

I agree the murder plot was kind of tame but the Jim & Callie and Carlos and Daniel scenes made the show
I hope we see more of Jeff in season 2 !

Just started watching this series. Enjoyed the first episode.

I noticed they censored some pretty tame words (like ass) by muting. But I was watching a repeat of the pilot recently aired on 9/20/10. Out of curiosity, I went and got an original 7/11/10 cap of that episode and there was no muting.

Anybody know why A&E did this?

What time of day did the repeat air? Probably before 10pm, which is when the premiere episodes air.

The repeat aired mid afternoon.

So I assume you think it has to do with the "family friendly", or whatever it's called, time, which ends at 10 pm local.

I didn't think cable had to follow those rules. And are these minor vulgarities banned?

Not a rule, per sé, but I believe that many of the networks observe them voluntarily.

Season 2 of A&E's The Glades starts Sunday June 5 at 10pm on A&E.

Agreed. This show seems to slip under the radar, but I'm glad it was renewed.

Last I heard (about a month ago) is that it was "likely to be renewed", but hadn't yet.

A&E Renews 'The Glades' for a Third Season

A&E will remain in business with The Glades.

The cable network has renewed its charcter-based procedural for a third season, which will premiere in summer 2012.

The news comes as the net looks to expand its scripted footprint, with other scripted dramas Breakout Kings and upcoming Longmire.

For its part, The Glades' second season grew 12 percent in the advertiser beloved 18 to 49 demographic --and 2 percent in the adults 25 to 54 demo-- compared to a year earlier. On average, the series, starring Matt Passmore, lured 3.9 million total viewers.

The drama, which is produced by Fox Television Studios, is executive produced by creator Clifton Campbell (White Collar, 21 Jump Street) and Gary Randall (Saving Grace).
