A&E Sets Summer Premiere Dates for 'The Glades,' 'Longmire'
By Philiana Ng, The Hollywood Reporter's 'Live Feed' Blog - Apr. 27, 2012

A&E has announced the return of The Glades and the debut of new series Longmire.

The Glades will launch its third season on Sunday, June 3 at 9 p.m. Immediately following the veteran series, the Katee Sackhoff-led Longmire will premiere at 10 p.m.

Described as a contemporary crime thriller, the 10-episode Longmire is based on the Walt Longmire mystery novels by Craig Johnson. Sackhoff is joined by Robert Taylor, Lou Diamond Phillips, Bailey Chase, Cassidy Freeman and Adam Bartley.

Hunt Baldwin, Greer Shephard and Michael M. Robin and Christopher Chulack serve as executive producers.

The Glades stars Matt Passmore, Kiele Sanchez, Taylor Cole and Carlos Gomez. Executive producers include creator Clifton Campbell and Gary Randall.

Kiele Sanchez is pregnant isn't she? Or at least when this season was shot she looks as if she was/is, puffy face and loose fitting clothing, sure looks pregnant to me.

I don't think there's been any confirmation in any of the press -- or I can't find it if it has been announced.

I was thinking such things last week and even more so this week with the clothing and then the development at the end of tonight's show. I kept expecting some sort of Bones conversation when when she kept having those odd interviews and very limited screen time.

I love this whole her whole Part-time Med School thing -- yes I realize it's just a TV show.

Yes, the discussed move to Atlanta for the job thing could very likely work as cover for her absence while she's pregnant, if she is of course, which I think is highly probable.

What's the status of her engagement to "Friday Night Light's" QB1 Zach Gilford (six years her junior) ?? Would he be the father? [I always wondered how someone in their upper 20s could play a high school QB. Oh well...

Oh come on ... they just got together! And what happened to her working with the PD - wasn't she a crime scene investigator?

She was Carlos' assistant in the morgue department which was in sync with her medical background, and her desire to be a doctor, I believe.

And yeah, they did just get together, but sending her off to Atlanta will bring back the tension in the relationship, which frankly is more fun to watch then a boring old "married" couple! biggrin.gif

They accused her of entrapping the tax guy this week, but I don't think she was enough of a law enforcement officer at that time to qualify her to entrap him. Also, I don't think the entrapment is a crime, just a screw up that makes it impossible to prosecute the entrapped for the crime. IMHO

kind of a weird start to the season. The beginning reminded me of the Supernatural pilot - Lady in White urban myth.

I don't know what it is about this show, but I always make sure I catch it. I just like all the characters, I guess.
