A&E Sets Summer Premiere Dates for 'The Glades,' 'Longmire'
By Philiana Ng, The Hollywood Reporter's 'Live Feed' Blog - Apr. 27, 2012

A&E has announced the return of The Glades and the debut of new series Longmire.

The Glades will launch its third season on Sunday, June 3 at 9 p.m. Immediately following the veteran series, the Katee Sackhoff-led Longmire will premiere at 10 p.m.

Described as a contemporary crime thriller, the 10-episode Longmire is based on the Walt Longmire mystery novels by Craig Johnson. Sackhoff is joined by Robert Taylor, Lou Diamond Phillips, Bailey Chase, Cassidy Freeman and Adam Bartley.

Hunt Baldwin, Greer Shephard and Michael M. Robin and Christopher Chulack serve as executive producers.

The Glades stars Matt Passmore, Kiele Sanchez, Taylor Cole and Carlos Gomez. Executive producers include creator Clifton Campbell and Gary Randall.

Yea!

Kiele Sanchez is pregnant isn't she? Or at least when this season was shot she looks as if she was/is, puffy face and loose fitting clothing, sure looks pregnant to me.

I don't think there's been any confirmation in any of the press -- or I can't find it if it has been announced.

I was thinking such things last week and even more so this week with the clothing and then the development at the end of tonight's show. I kept expecting some sort of Bones conversation when when she kept having those odd interviews and very limited screen time.

I love this whole her whole Part-time Med School thing -- yes I realize it's just a TV show.

Yes, the discussed move to Atlanta for the job thing could very likely work as cover for her absence while she's pregnant, if she is of course, which I think is highly probable.

What's the status of her engagement to "Friday Night Light's" QB1 Zach Gilford (six years her junior) ?? Would he be the father? [I always wondered how someone in their upper 20s could play a high school QB. Oh well...

Oh come on ... they just got together! And what happened to her working with the PD - wasn't she a crime scene investigator?

She was Carlos' assistant in the morgue department which was in sync with her medical background, and her desire to be a doctor, I believe.

And yeah, they did just get together, but sending her off to Atlanta will bring back the tension in the relationship, which frankly is more fun to watch then a boring old "married" couple! biggrin.gif

They accused her of entrapping the tax guy this week, but I don't think she was enough of a law enforcement officer at that time to qualify her to entrap him. Also, I don't think the entrapment is a crime, just a screw up that makes it impossible to prosecute the entrapped for the crime. IMHO

kind of a weird start to the season. The beginning reminded me of the Supernatural pilot - Lady in White urban myth.

I don't know what it is about this show, but I always make sure I catch it. I just like all the characters, I guess.

On the wedding day - You have got to be kidding!

It's been a fun season, a little off beat, but fun. I think Ray is the red hearing and it is someone from Mike's past. I think it's coming back next summer, so we will see how Callie deals with this.

I thought that Federal Marshal looked a bit suspicious when he first appeared to pickup Jeff for a visit to his father. So I never fully trusted him. Maybe he lied when he said Ray was in Oregon.

Or maybe Ray's mother has something to do with the shooting. After all she did not want to attend the wedding.

So I suspect the Fed, grandma, & of course Ray.

I think the show has lost it's main focus and is boring now.

The Glades appears unlikely to go to a fifth season after posting year-to-year ratings declines. (Deadline)

A&E has officially canceled the show. I'm fine with the decision. Lately I have been hate watching (a term used by another member which struck a cord with me). Also Kiele Sanchez's voice was beginning to drive me nuts.

Oh well. Perhaps they'll shop it around, it had decent ratings, not great but decent.

I think the show lost its original main focus & overemphasized the romantic part at the expense of everything else.

That sums it up nicely. It became a bit to sappy for me. I had the last four episodes saved and after hearing it didn't get renewed, I just nuked 'em. I had lost interest for sure.

i have the whole last season on my dvr -- and have been bound and determined to watch it despite the series being canceled. but now, after today's news, i'm thinking i should just "nuke'em" like you did and wait for this.
